Celebrate the many gifts of California native plants with ARC in collaboration with the El Dorado Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.  Enjoy special guests, including author of “Tending the Wild,” M. Kat Anderson, discussing her new book. Immerse yourself in the Farm's ponds, woodlands, and gardens to discover native plants as cultural allies and ecological anchors.  Visit information booths featuring local experts to learn about biodiversity and related topics.  View artists’ work, see demonstrations inspired by native flora, and participate in hands-on activities.  Shop for native plants, seeds, art, and merchandise to help support a sustainable future.

  • 10:00AM - Event begins
  • 11:30AM to 1:00PM - Book talk with M. Kat Anderson, storytelling by Kimberly ShiningStar Petree, music by Hither & Yon
  • 2:00PM - Event ends
