HIKE INTO THE BEAUTY OF EMIGRANT LAKE

Enjoy a mountain hike to beautiful Emigrant Lake near Caples Lake and Kirkwood ski area along a forested trail. ARC board member Steve Clark will lead this out and back hike of about 8 miles (round trip) with an elevation gain of about 920 feet. This pristine lake is located in the Mokelumne Wilderness and sits in a bowl beneath mountain peaks at an elevation of 8,600 feet. Wildflowers should be abundant. For fit hikers 12+.
