BEGINNING BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION

This class will include a short walk where students lightly draw their specimens in pencil. This drawing will then become the framework for both pen and ink strokes with watercolor. This class spans both beginning and advanced students. Rain or shine. Your instructor, Professor Vanda Lavar, holds a master's degree in art. She regularly teaches classes in botanical illustration and her works are widely collected in both the USA and Europe. Ages 12+ welcome. Meeting location Gold Hill/Placerville. Cost: $45/members, $60/non-members. A detailed email will be sent once you register online.
