December 1, 2024: Holiday Wreaths Using Succulents
Holidays are a wonderful time to gather and celebrate with family and friends! Sogetsu Ikebana makes generous use of festive materials to create beautiful center pieces, outdoor wreathes and eye-catching arrangements to decorate your home. In this class we will arrange red dogwood, curly willow, fragrant pine, and herbs, then decorate the structure with succulents. The wonderful beauty of succulents is that they last without a water source. Then, when the Season is over, you can disassemble your wreath and plant the succulents in your garden. They will root and spread, providing lots of material for your next project! No containers necessary. Wreath materials and succulents, as well as lights will be provided.
