HEAVENLY WONDERS OVER THE WAKAMATSU FARM

Saturday, August 12th 9-11pm ARC volunteers and star-gazing enthusiasts, Herb Tanimoto & Tim Jackson, will host this unique sky-gazing event. Bring open minds ready to be filled by the wonders of the heavens over the dark Wakamatsu Farm sky. Bring cots or reclining chairs to relax and listen to descriptions of stars, constellations and mythology. Telescopes will be available to focus on special celestial objects. As a bonus, Perseid meteors will flash nocturnal greetings above. Clouds or heavy smoke will cancel. Quiet children welcome. Meeting location Gold Hill/Placerville area.
