Sunday, August 27th 10-11am The Native American flute is considered an important instrument in many Native American cultures. It is often seen as a spiritual instrument that has the power to connect people with the natural world and the spirits. For many Native American tribes, the flute is considered a symbol of peace and harmony. The instrument is often used in ceremonial and healing rituals, and its soothing and meditative sounds are believed to have the power to calm the mind and bring about a sense of tranquility and inner peace. Your guide, Greg Kiefer, has been playing the native American flute since 2011. He enjoys playing and teaching others how to play the flute. He also composes music on the flute and piano (link available at registration site). minimum: 10+. Meeting location Gold Hill/Placerville area. Suggested Donation: $5/members, $10/non-members.
