February - “Flowering Branches”: Spring is the time for the earth to put on its finery, and new buds are bursting into bloom. We can hear the birds and insects celebrate the return of tender buds and leaves, and the beginnings of the cycle of pollination of flowers, which leads to new fruits and vegetables, upon which all life depends. Making arrangements with these gorgeous branches is a high point of the year for me. This class will go over the principles of “Dome” – fixing branches in tall containers. Bring a Nageieri (tall cylindrical vase). Flowers and branches will be provided.
