January - “Midolino – Studies in Line and Mass”: Midolino is made of thin, flexible pieces of rattan, dyed many bright colors, and which can be woven and wrapped with wire to make stunning geometrical shapes. When combined with flowers and branches these structures add a special graceful sculpture to any arrangement. Midolino is very hard to get these days, so don’t miss this class! The sculptures can be used repeatedly in new and remarkable creations. Bring a tall, cylindrical container. Midolino and wire, as well as flowers and branches will be provided.
