Description

Come out for an evening of fun at Wakamatsu Farm in September as we celebrate Fall Festival! There will be music, dancing, and tours of our Historic Graner House and the Native Garden, along with time to just wander and enjoy a beautiful foothills evening. You are welcome to bring a picnic and find a place by the lake to sit and take some time out with family and friends. 

Gates will open at 3:00

Celebration of the return of Okei's original headstone at 3:30

Sakura Minyo Doo Koo Kai Dancers at 4:30

Koyasan Spirit of Children Taiko and Bakuhatsu Taiko Drummers at 5:30

Crafts including calligraphy brush painting, poetry, flower arranging, and fan making all day. 

Requested Donation:$10 per vehicle. Buses and large vans are $5 per person. Additional donations are welcome. To minimize cash handling, please bring exact change. 

During Open Farm Days, explore the property at your own pace.  Visit Okei-san's 1871 grave site.  Tour the Native Plant Garden. See the Graner Farmhouse while enjoying the shade of the 150 year-old Keyaki tree.  Take a trip around the lake on the 1.5-mile trail.  Picnics are welcome.  Docents will be on-site, ready to share information and answer questions. Open Farm Days are suitable for most ages and capabilities.  Points of interest are mostly outdoors and reached by dirt trail or unpaved road over generally flat terrain.

Event is 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Last admittance at 6:00 PM.
